Some of you remember when BH Cosmetics was something half arsed you could get on Ebay. Remember those palettes with 90 pans of shadow or whatever it was?
I've been sleeping on BH because when I saw THIS palette I had a heart attack. *insert stars and cosmic imagery here* The 80's remix dance palette. Just the very sound of that. Not to even start with the packaging!
Just to be clear, this brand is still a low budget brand, meaning it's not Chanel, Charlotte Tilbury or Huda. But for the price it's truly amazing.

I was born in 1976 so the 80's was a huge deal to me, my childhood, all the films, the hearth throbs, the music, the fashion, the hair. You really REALLY had to be there to get it. And now with all these retro series like Stranger things and Cobra kai..and Synth wave music..I'm just really on a massive trip down memory lane.
Right. Enough of the banter. Lets talk the koolest freaking palette of 2021.
The design is so spot on, with the colors, the font, the neon colors, everything takes me right back into "back to the future". The inside shows of such vibrant and amazing color pans, with the tongue in cheek "girls just wanna have fun shadows" as a nod to Cindy Laupers hit song. The eyeshadows comes in matte, in shimmer, satin, what ever a girl/boy could want for bright fun looks.

The names of the shadows are just perfect, like "Sweet dreams", "wake me up", "Virgin", "Thriller"...all named after huge hits that decade.

OK so is this the most perfect palette for a mum with a 9 to 5 job, and a wardrobe in the shade beige? No. It this the perfect color for people who are more experimental, maybe grew up goth or punk? Yes indeed. You can create more subtle looks with this, no problem, just a wash of colors, or a fun liner in a brighter color, or go full on. That's up to you.

If you are anything like me, you will love this, its extremely pigmented and the shadows are powdery so a little goes a looong way and there will be fallout so do you foundation last or use loose powder under your eyes. I've been playing with it since I got it, had a really fun time creating a nuts look with the hair and everything. I did do a few more looks I'm posting here so you can get some inspiration or just see how it can be used.

Just such a fun and amazing palette to have in your collection. And I will mention that there are two other palettes in this release...the 90's palette and the 2000's palette so those of you connected to those decades might find those palettes fun.
